Before I started my first business,
I had a dream:
Me and my friends would make tons of money and travel the world together.
We’d build a close-knit community and improve the lives of everyone around us.
So what did I do?
I started the company and scaled it a bit.
I hired my friends to work with me.
I trained them well to do the job.
We scaled to $1.4M in 8 months.
I had no clue how to run a business…
It was my first one EVER!
So, how did I get it off the ground so fast?
I followed the vision!
Every decision I made had that vision in mind…
Every decision my friends made had that vision in mind…
We wanted to reach the mountaintop together!
What about the key ingredient?
During my 3-year tenure as CEO (soft flex)…
We had moments of success and progress,
But we had plenty of moments of failure and setbacks!
I’m talking about things that would make most people quit!
Internal sabotage
Wire transfer fraud
Customer fraud
Defamation
Negative cash flow
Cargo theft
… the list goes on
It was crazy at times!!
And we made it through the struggles.
How?
We all had clarity on the vision.
When we were down… we looked up to it.
When we were up… we charged straight ahead.
A clear vision is a REQUIREMENT.
Without one, there won’t be intentional action taken…
And it will be very hard to sustain the efforts required for success!
That’s why the first thing we do in the boot camp is get clear on the vision!
Once that’s out of the way, we create a clear offer that requires no selling…
