Welcome to episode 19!

In the last episode, I want to explore my favorite part of thought leadership and content marketing… vulnerability. It is so often overlooked! People want to maintain a perfect outward appearance, but the only thing that’s perfect is AI.

To build engagement and trust with your audience, they are going to need to see you… the real you! Don’t wait until you need to monetize to start laying your hat on the table.

Today, I want to talk about my secret to consistency! Doing the bare minimums is the secret. Every day, I have a set of things that I MUST complete and a set of things that I’d like to complete.

This is what keeps me going on my rough days…

Some Days are Hard

Not every day will be perfect.

I don’t know about you, but for me, life doesn’t care about my plans. I used to have these elaborate schedules. All 24 hours were dedicated to certain tasks and activities. They were so draining to facilitate!

One little inconvenience and my entire day was ruined.

For a long time, I didn’t believe in a schedule. I couldn’t commit to my goals at all. This caused so many of my earlier problems with accountability.

I needed a system.

Do the Bare Necessities

This is when I came up with a simple solution to my time management issue.

The biggest problem was my lack of flexibility during my days. My routine couldn’t adjust to life, and I prioritized tasks chronologically instead of by importance.

So, to counterbalance this, I began writing out 2 to 5 MUST do things each day!

No matter what came up, these tasks were to be completed for the day. If I was going to be lazy, I had to make sure these tasks got completed first. This short, lean priority list changed my world.

  • I began growing consistently

  • I saw more quality in the work I did

  • I was more productive throughout the day

And the best thing? I could circumnavigate imposter syndrome because I had an objective perspective on my priority.

Make sure you have a short list of bare minimums each day, your future self will thank you!

Announcement!

I am opening 2 more slots for April for anyone looking to scale their online presence/business (2/4 slots available).

Just reply to this with “scale,” if you are interested.
